KSC Girls Premier Frederick Cup


This is our Annual gotsoccer event, organized in conjunction with Global Team Tournaments (www.globalteamevents.com), sanctioned through USYS as an unrestricted event open to USYS and US Club Soccer teams, approved by US Soccer Federation for international teams to enter. Canadian teams are welcome and can apply.

The Frederick Cup Girls Premier Tournament is held over Columbus Day Weekend. This is a Premier Girls event open to teams in the U09 to U18 age groups. This tournament will have divisions for all levels of play (premier, elite & classic travel).

We feature 15 quality grass fields, three of which are Bermuda grass and one synthetic turf field. Many of the games are played at the KSC Complex, and some games are scheduled at the Governor Bacon Health facility (10 miles from KSC Complex) and Gunning Bedford School (5 miles from KSC Complex). We provide buses to both satellite tournament sites.

Our tournament accepts over 200 teams from 15 states and Canada. Teams must be registered through their state association or US Club Soccer. Teams may not combine players from both organizations.

Registration Requirements:
Teams are required to present the following at registration:

  • 2 copies of your state approved roster or US Club roster
  • 2013/2014 Player passes for every participating player (our tournament accepts state rosters and player passes or US Club rosters and player passes) Teams may not combine both organizations
  • Medical releases for every participating player (including guest players)
  • Permission to travel (only for teams from states that require it)
  • Guest players and information added to the bottom of the rosters (if applicable)

At check in your team will receive their parking passes for the tournament. Teams will receive 8 parking passes for the main site (KSC Complex). The Governor Bacon site will have ample parking, passes are not required there. The shuttle busses do not service the Governor Bacon site. Only cars with a parking pass will be permitted to enter Kirkwood complex.

The families on your team who do not have a parking pass for the KSC Complex will need to ride the shuttle busses. The shuttles will leave from the Christiana Mall "Park and Ride" lot located near Nordstroms. The busses start at 6:30 and run continuously until the end of play.  Details and Maps for the shuttle will be sent via email prior to the tournament.

NO PETS or SMOKING are allowed at Kirkwood Soccer Complex. NO Parking on Rt. 9 as cars will be ticketed and towed!!
