Kirkwood Regional Championship Stars Program
Will your team be the next to add a Regional
Championship Star?
Purpose
The purpose of the Representative Team Program is to provide an opportunity for qualified players to compete at a higher level of competition with players of similar abilities. Identification of these players is through a carefully managed tryout process.
Teams are formed by age groups and they usually represent the Kirkwood Soccer Club in the Mid-Atlantic Soccer League (MASL), Baltimore Beltway Soccer League (BBSL), Delco Soccer League, MAPS, PAGS, JAGS and Region 1 Premier League and other Regional Leagues within Region 1.
Representative Team Program FAQ
Do all players have to try out to be on a Rep Team?
Any player who wishes to participate in the Rep Team program must try out each year even if they are already on a Kirkwood Rep Team. Tryouts are held after the spring season for the following year.
When will I hear from the Coach?
Players are usually notified of their tryout results within 10 days after the tryout process is complete. Please put on the Tryout Application Form a home phone number or a number where there is an answering machine. This will make communications by the coach more efficient. Please, no beeper numbers.
When and where are practices?
The Club does not dictate the time or neighborhood location for practice. The Coach will select a neighborhood location and time once he/she has the roster. Teams practice an average of twice per week.
