FIELD HOCKEY

We are proud to be Delaware's premier and most popular field hockey instructional organization. The partnership between Kirkwood Sports New Castle County Parks & Recreation, and Delaware Sharks Field Hockey Club provides kids of all ages and skills hockey opportunities throughout the entire calendar year and is part of USA Field Hockey's Fundamental Field Hockey program.
Hot Shots Prep League (grades 3-5) is 90 minutes of game play and skills work. Small-sided play ensures more touches on the ball-the game is the best teacher- come have fun, put in the work, and get good! Note: this is a partnership between Kirkwood Sports and Delaware Sharks Field Hockey Club.

Cost: $185
Dates: June 24-28; 9am-3pm Monday-Thursday, 9am-12pm Friday
For 5th-8th graders: Focus on building the fundamental skills for the Middle School player, whether she is new to the sport or is looking to develop her skills for future high school play. Emphasis on basic stick skills, defensive techniques, teamwork and offensive tactics. Players will also participate in small games and scrimmages.
